Founded in 1979 as a non-profit organization of Christian professional counselors, Christian Family Life Center (CFLC, Inc.) adoption agency is committed to the purpose of working with birth mothers and when so directed, placing as many children as possible in loving families. Our basic mission is to prevent cruelty to children inside and outside of the womb.

CFLC, Inc. remains fully committed to its domestic (American) adoption program, and the placement of American children.

Formerly, CFLC Inc. had programs which directly placed children from Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Guatemala into loving American homes. Currently, our primary work in inter-country (international) adoption is to provide the preparation of Home Studies for adoptive families who are working with other agencies to complete an inter-country (international) adoption.

Our staff has vast experience in the preparation of the adoptive home study. The "Home Study" (or assessment) is the document that represents adoptive parents throughout the adoption process. It is the written report indicating whether prospective adoptive parents are a qualified placement resource for a child both in inter-country (international) and domestic adoptions.
